Halloween postcard sells for $140 on eBay
Well, this sale was the reason I decided to start this blog in the 1st place.
I got a handful of old postcards from my uncle Nate and put a few up for sale on eBay. The Halloween card sold for $140!

My close friend Ed Seidenberg told me that the Halloween postcards would be a hot item. I was thinking maybe $30 - $40 would be great. It had passed that point the very first night.
I have been selling vintage postcards on eBay for many years. I just seem to come across them in my dealings.
This was a very pleasant surprise.
So I decided to start this blog to list a number of my vintage postcards in a place that I could leave them up for a long time. I am also going to use the power of eBay, WordPress and a plugin called phpBay to bring my visitors a quick resource for auctions and listings on eBay for these vintage postcards.
I will be upfront and tell you that clicking an auction from my site makes it an affiliate link and I will get a (very) small payout from eBay for sending you to them.

The payout comes from eBay itself and does not in any way take from the seller or the buyer of the item.
The phpBay software just allows me to target specific listings based on keywords and price limits I choose.
If you are interested in checking out the phpBay software yourself, please either email me about it or click my link to phpBay to take you directly to the site.
you can also read more about the phpBay software for eBay on my The Life of Buford" blog.
Let me know what you think about this software.
